# Deprecation notice - fileURL parameter is deprecated as of March 5, 2023

As of March 5, 2023 Lightico is deprecating the fileURL parameter that arrives in the *Wizard Completed by a Customer* event as it no longer meets Lightico's increased security requirements.

Effective immediately, the fileURL parameter is no longer available to use in new deployments.

Support and access to the fileURL endpoint will end on March 5, 2023.

## What will happen if I do nothing?

After March 5, 2023, calling the fileURL parameter will result in an error. If you rely on a script, integration or application that makes requests using this parameter, you will need to update it to use the alternatives as soon as possible.
