# Integration Certificate Annual Renewal 2022

Lightico provides the ability to sign all outgoing webhooks/events using a certificate, this certificate will enable you to authenticate that the request is originating from Lightico.

Getting the new certificate

If you have not yet received the new certificate, please contact support@lightico.com

## Installing the new certificate

Different systems have different ways to import these certificates and check traffic against them:

- ngnix - [https://www.ssltrust.com.au/help/setup-guides/client-certificate-authentication](https://www.ssltrust.com.au/help/setup-guides/client-certificate-authentication)
- HaProxy - [https://www.haproxy.com/documentation/hapee/latest/security/authentication/client-certificate-authentication/](https://www.haproxy.com/documentation/hapee/latest/security/authentication/client-certificate-authentication/)

IMPORTANT

The Lightico certificate requires the ssl_verify_depth to be set to 4 at least, as our certificate chain is 4 including the CA's.
