# Old PDF Builder: Mask sensitive data in a completed document

Note:This article refers to the old PDF builder. As of July 7, 2024 the old Builder supports only editing existing Template that were created there. You can no longer create new PDF Templates. Please use the [new PDF builder](https://knowledge.lightico.com/docs/getting-started-creating-esign-documents) to edit and create your Templates.

If you are completing documents that have sensitive data, you may want to hide this data from the agent. This feature enables the agent to send, preview, and download a completed document that blacks out all sensitive information.![](https://cdn.document360.io/473bb8c5-ff1b-4930-8109-2321ac6ab967/Images/Documentation/Snag_226fa0d7.png)

2. [Create sensitive attributes](/v1/docs/mask-sensitive-data-in-a-document#create-sensitive-attributes)
3. [Bind sensitive attributes to document fields](/v1/docs/mask-sensitive-data-in-a-document#bind-sensitive-attributes-to-document-fields)
