# Request payment

This article describes how to request payment from your customer during a Lightico session.

> This feature is enabled and configured by a Lightico user with administrative permissions, in the Admin Center system settings under **Session > Tools > Payment.** For more information, see [Set up payment gateway integration](/v1/docs/payment-gateway-integration).

**To request payment:**

1. In the right pane of the agent console, click **Tools**to access the Lightico Apps.

The Collect Payment pane opens.
3. Select the relevant currency and enter the amount you wish to request.

Area of the Lightico platform where you will find all settings, user management, and asset configuration pages. Access to this area is defined by a user's role and permissions.
