Agent locked out - Resetting a user password

If an agent forgets their password, they can reset it themselves by clicking on Forgot Password.



If a Lightico user attempts to login 3 times and fails, the user will be locked and an Admin will need to unlock the user in the Lightico Administration page and reset its password. Only a user defined in the role of Profile Admin or User Admin can perform a password reset.

Note: Admin username and password will be required to perform this action.


To unlock a user:

  1. Login to Lightico 
  2. On the top right corner, under your login, choose Settings
  3. In the Administration menu, go to Users
  4. Find the user through the search function and click the unlock icon.
  5. Enter your username and password then click Send.


Make sure that when you reset the users password you follow the restrictions of 8 characters: one upper case, one lower case, one digit and one special character. You should not use the last password.
