How to unlock a Lightico user


If a Lightico user attempts to login 3 times and fails, the user will be locked and an Admin will need to unlock the user and reset the password. 


Note: Only a user defined in the role of Profile Admin or User Admin can perform a password reset. Admin username and password will be required to perform this action.


To unlock a user:

  1. In the Administration menu, go to Users
  2. Find the user through the search function and click the unlock icon.
  3. Enter Admin username and password then click Send.



Now you can reset user password



Make sure that when you reset the users password you follow the restrictions of 8 characters: one upper case, one lower case, one digit and one special character. You should not use the last password.
