Lightico will stop supporting TLS version 1.1 and weak Cipher Suites on November 1, 2024

What is TLS 1.1?

Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.1 is a legacy security protocol for establishing encryption channels over computer networks, ensuring data integrity and privacy.

Who is impacted?

Applications connecting to and from Lightico may be impacted if they utilize TLS 1.1 security protocol and weak Cypher Suites.

What Will Happen?

Connectivity to or from Lightico for such applications will be denied.

Why Is This Happening Now?

Our customers’ security and privacy are of the utmost importance to us. Our decision to deprecate support for TLS 1.1 and weak Cypher Suites is to ensure Lightico is as secure as possible.

What Should I do About It?

If your application doesn’t support TLS 1.2 and above, we recommend upgrading to a version that does.

If you require more time to make adjustments to your application than is published in this article, please reach out to your Lightico Program Manager.
