Finding the session ID

When you have an issue with Lightico, our Support team may ask you to provide session ID examples for the reported issue.

What is a Session ID?

A session ID is the unique identifier for any secure session created by Lightico using either Lightico stand alone or API applications. The session ID has a GUID format and is a large number that looks like this:
30dd879c-ee2f-11db-8314-0800200c9a66

Finding the session ID

In the History report

In order to find a Lightico session ID, in your Lightico account

  1. Go to Settings > History
  2. Search for the session and click the eye icon. This will open the session in a separate tab
  3. Copy the link for the session from the search bar of your browser. This link includes the session ID after the sid= parameter.
User Permissions

You will need to have team supervisor, user admin or profile admin rights in order to access the History report.
