What's New
This release includes the following new features:
Photo ID Verification improved reliability and UX
Identification reliability and customer experience have been upgraded with the following features:
- User-friendly customer wizard
- Auto-capture of ID photo and selfie
- Auto-compare of the photo on the ID and selfie (powered by facial recognition technology)Note:
For existing workflows that include a validation of a photo ID using document request capability, the existing behavior will continue to be supported.
This means the following:- Photo ID authenticity will be verified, extracted data will be placed into mapped attributes if mapped, and authentication results will be set into the mapped attribute, if mapped.
- Collected documents will be available for download as part of the completed workflow.
New workflows will be built out of two separated capabilities, the Document Request and the Photo ID Verification.
Photo ID Verification as Part of a Workflow
In addition to authenticating customers using photo ID verification to secure a session, business users can now add an identity verification step as part of a workflow. This enables businesses to require ID verification only for optional higher security steps, or in cases where ID is required based on a business rule (e.g specific agreement, residence, age).
In the Workflow Designer page, Photo ID Verification is now a separate item and is no longer part of the Document Request item.
Download draft eSign - API
This endpoint allows developers to download a draft copy of an eSign document before it has been signed or approved by the customer. The draft will include all attribute values that have been added to the document via API or through the UI. The API also allows the developers to add a watermark to the document and to black out any signatures that have already been added. No audit trail is provided for draft documents.
Verify agent required fields - API
An eSign document can include fields that must be completed before it is presented to the customer. This endpoint enables you to define one of the following options for an eSign sent via API:
- Verify - The system verifies that all agent-required fields have been completed and, if verified successfully, the document is added to the session for the customer to complete.
- Do not verify - A live agent must verify that all agent-required fields are completed before it can be sent to the customer.
Fixes and Improvements
- [Document] The audit trail will now list individual signature time stamps for any signature in the document.
- [Customer Experience] The Session Link Expired message will now be displayed as expected for accounts with Limited Access settings turned on.
- [Administration] Sending of a PIN for an administor accessing the system settings with 2FA enabled has now been restored.
- [Workflows] In the Form Designer, default values can now be added for a checkbox type field.
- [Salesforce Integration] Only Salesforce generated session will broadcast events to the Salesforce integration hub.
