Lightico provides the ability to sign all outgoing webhooks/events using a certificate, this certificate will enable you to authenticate that the request is originating from Lightico.
If you have not yet received the new certificate, please contact support@lightico.com
Installing the new certificate
Different systems have different ways to import these certificates and check traffic against them:
- ngnix - https://www.ssltrust.com.au/help/setup-guides/client-certificate-authentication
- HaProxy - https://www.haproxy.com/documentation/hapee/latest/security/authentication/client-certificate-authentication/
The Lightico certificate requires the ssl_verify_depth to be set to 4 at least, as our certificate chain is 4 including the CA's.
Release timeline
Lightico will be switching to the new certificate according to the following timeline:
