The LivePerson integration enables you to send an invitation and link for a Lightico session to a LivePerson chat. The invitation is sent via the Lightico API.
Set up integration
To get started, you'll need to set up an integration hub in the Lightico Administration pages.
To set up LivePerson integration:
- From the Lightico Administration pages, go to Integration hubs and click the LivePerson hub icon.
The LivePerson hub opens. - Enter a name and description for the hub and click Save.
- On the Connectivity tab, enter your LivePerson account credentials.
- Click Save.
The LivePerson hub is configured.
Send a session invitation
Once the LivePerson integration is set up with Lightico, you can send a session invitation and session link to your customer in a LivePerson chat.
To send a session invitation to a LivePerson chat:
Use the Add message to external vendor API endpoint.
Note:
To customize the session invitation, contact your Lightico customer success representative.
