What's New

This release includes the following new features:

Hide default form for External Document item in a workflow 

The External Document item in a workflow creates a placeholder for the agent to upload a document before sending the workflow. When an overlay template is associated with this External Document item, you can now choose to hide the default form for the overlay and add the fields from the overlay to another form in the workflow.

Multiple switch branches

A switch in a workflow splits the journey into distinct paths based on conditions. In this release, we've increased the number of paths that you can create for each switch. The system evaluates the condition of each path in the order that you define. The first condition to be met determines the path that the customer follows.

Worldpay payment gateway integration

Worldpay has now been added to the list of supported payment gateways that enable you to collect payment within a Lightico session.

Complex attributes

We've added support for a new type of attribute that contains other attributes nested within it. Phase 1 of this feature supports complex attributes in a form.

New API features

Present an empty room to the customer

A new state has been added to the Create new session endpoint. An empty room is a session that is meant to present only one action item to the customer without the ability to see history or to perform other actions in the session. The empty room option currently supports Payment requests and Shared reviews.

LivePerson integration

A new API endpoint called Add message to external vendor sends a Lightico session invitation and link to a LivePerson chat.

Fixes and Improvements

• [Workflows] When saving a workflow, the current participant and participant label information is now saved with the workflow.
• [API] When single active session mode is set, an open empty room will no longer be considered an open session for the agent.
• [CX]  Font style configuration is now aligned across edit mode, customer preview and final document. 
• [Workflows] A default value can now be set for a dropdown field in a workflow in an agent basket use case.
• [Workflows] Users with Team Supervisor permission can now successfully send workflows with agent forms. 
• [Workflows] A very long agent form is now displayed as expected.
• [Workflows] Unified look and feel for field labels. 
• [Workflows] Switching between applications no longer results in unexpected behavior for agents preparing a visual basket.
