This release brings data-driven charts to Dynamic Documents, extends the Viewer role to PDF Templates, and adds several Collaboration Room refinements including single list values and additional Viewers on External Document steps. Case Manager gains searchable case data and more accurate completion notifications, while Admin Center fixes a History tab gap for multi-team agents. A new consolidated Communication Sent event also simplifies tracking of all outbound customer communications.
New features
This release includes the following new features:
Collaboration Room
📊 Bring documents to life with data-driven charts
HTML-based Dynamic Documents can now visualize session data at a glance, making key figures easier to understand instead of just listing them as text. Business Configurators insert charts directly in the HTML designer, choosing from bar, stacked bar, or doughnut visuals, with each series mapped to a numeric Attribute so the chart is built automatically from live session data.
For more information, see Add charts to Dynamic Documents.
📄 Viewer role extended to PDFs
The Viewer role, already available in Dynamic Documents and External Documents, is now supported for PDF Templates as well. Admins can assign a participant as a Viewer alongside Signers and Approvers, so they can see a document without holding up the Workflow.
For more information, see Add multiple participants to a PDF template.
📝 Use one list value without the whole list
Business Configurators can now extract one specific value from a List Attribute and place it as free text anywhere in a document instead of being limited to displaying the entire list as a repeating table.
Improvements
Add Viewers alongside a Reviewer in an External Document step
In an External Document step, the Reviewer and Download roles were limited to a single participant. Now, a Reviewer can be joined by additional participants assigned as Viewers, so others can see the document without affecting who reviews or downloads it.
Clearer labeling when adding another instance of a Workflow
The button previously labeled "Resend" is now labeled "Add again," so it's clear that clicking it adds a new instance of the workflow rather than resending the original. A confirmation dialog now reinforces this before the action is taken.
Case Manager
📬 Completion notifications now reach the current case owner
When a customer finishes a document or task, the completion notification now goes to whoever currently owns the case — not whoever originally created the session. This keeps notifications aligned with cases that change hands over their lifecycle, so the person actually responsible for the next step is the one who's notified.
🔍 Search cases by the data inside them
Case Manager search has expanded beyond metadata like case status, owner, or creation date. Agents can now search using the actual data captured within a case, such as loan amount, address, or phone number. Admins control which fields are searchable, so teams can tailor search to the data that matters most to them. Up to 50 searchable fields are supported and multiple fields can be combined in the search to keep results fast and focused.
Admin Center
👥 History tab now reflects all of a user's teams
Agent users assigned to more than one team no longer miss activity outside their primary team — the History tab in the agent console now correctly reflects all of their teams' permissions.
Events
📡 One consolidated event for all outbound customer communications
A new Communication Sent event now fires for every outbound customer communication, including invites, re-invites, re-engagement messages, OTPs, new activity notices, and completed-document emails. This gives teams a single, unified place to track all customer-facing communications instead of piecing it together from multiple events. This event is additive: the existing Email Sent and SMS Sent events are unaffected and continue to fire independently.
